Currently Spectral Learning is a distant learning program. The goal is to expand into a facility that will house and facilitate The Spectral Way. Enabling the element of peer mentoring, that would elevate the experience and align more acutely with the principles of Spectral Learning. Also, having mobile locations that would not only aid in access, but would also be an avenue where Spectral Learning would create further development in the Spectral Way.

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • Address all aspects of the learning experience – academic, social, emotional
  • Include friends, family an other professionals to develop supportive strategies for the child
  • Coach parents in helping to support the student with IEP’s, SST’s, Gate and parent conferences
  • Determine how the underlying learning issues impact other areas of academic, social or family dynamics
  • Foster independence and self-advocacy in students, helping them take control of the learning process
  • Conduct assessments and integrate their results to develop a wide range of applicable strategies for teaching
  • Tailor the curriculum, remediation and teaching methodology to the student’s unique learning needs
  • Perform academic screening
  • Use music, art, and movement therapy
  • Provide references to other specialists if it’s determined that a student is best served by a different specialist
